High Performance 100% Synthetic Fuel Economy Engine Oil specially designed for VOLVO "DRIVE-E" Gasoline (VEP) and Diesel (VED) latest generation fitted with catalytic converters and Diesel Particulates Filters (DPF). Specially designed for the latest generation cars, powered by Gasoline and Diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, direct or indirect injection. For vehicles that are Euro 4, 5 or 6 emission regulation compliant and requiring an ACEA C5 engine oil i.e. very low HTHS (≥ 2.6 & < 2.9 mPa.s) viscosity and "Mid SAPS" with reduced content of Sulfated Ash (≤ 0.8%), Phosphorus (0.07 ≤ x ≤ 0.09%) and Sulfur (≤ 0.3%). Can be used also for OEMs requiring 0W-20 engine oil with low friction and very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity oil (≥ 2.6 mPa.s). Suitable also for Gasoline engines requiring an ACEA C5 or ACEA A1/B1 standards and 0W-20 viscosity grade Fuel Economy lubricant. Compatible with catalytic converters. PERFORMANCES
This 100% Synthetic engine oil has been exclusively formulated to ensure perfect lubrication of VOLVO “DRIVE-E” Petrol (VEP) and Diesel (VED) engines. The latest generation VOLVO VEA (4-cylinder) engines, whether Petrol (VEP) or Diesel (VED), require a very specific lubricant because they are smaller and lighter. They provide more effort and run at increased temperatures, while delivering performance levels equal to or even superior to older generation.
The VCC RBS0-2AE standard is particularly demanding on Fuel Economy performance and associated with the ACEA C5 standard for lubricants, MOTUL SPECIFIC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 provides significant energy saving performance (up to 3, 4% compared to a reference 15W-40 oil). This better fuel economy and these low levels of polluting emissions make it possible to meet the commitments of manufacturers such as VOLVO in terms of CO2 reduction.
The MOTUL SPECIFIC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 lubricant provides a very resistant oil film, while making it very easy to cold starts, reducing friction in the engine, maintaining oil pressure and while lowering engine operating temperatures.
Thanks to its excellent lubricating properties, MOTUL SPECIFIC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 resists high temperatures and oxidation, limits the formation of deposits, reduces wear and allows perfect control of oil consumption. Anti-wear, Anti-corrosion, Anti-foam.
